This well-known uptown spot’s interior has been the site of movies with its vintage details, transporting you back in time with stained glass, huge windows, an antique cherry wood bar, and tin ceilings. The food is sort of uniquely Irish-Asian fusion, and the cocktails are a must-try here. The ambiance in here is awesome - it has a clean, chic, modern feel to it with plants adorning the ceiling and perfect mood lighting. Serving Italian fare, Augustino’s has only eight tables and eight spots at the bar, so reservations are tough to get. Augustino’s was born on September 15th, 1995 when Buddy (Angelo) Yandoli acquired the old Hoboken Pizzeria from a friend. If you can get a reservation, this is a classic Italian Hoboken spot. Chef Paul Gerard and his team are often seen making fresh mozzarella right in front of patrons. The menu is also written in film script, making for the ultimate entertainment experience.
