Canon ivy rec digital camera11/22/2023 Video mode exists, works fine, but not the best, stabilisation is minimal but here. I though there was too much correction on portrait. With quite some light, photo are descent, not the best, but considering where you took them, that's not bad at all. It is fun to use, you can bring it anywhere, put it in any bag, pocket, hang it anywhere. I used it a lot this XMas and here is my though about this little camera I finaly bought it new for 45$cad at The Source. So my question is: Is there anyone here who has hands on experience with the ivy rec and wishes to share it with us or maybe even share some full sized sooc jpegs made with the ivy? Some guy used it a night and than claimed that it wasn't any good. ![]() I found some reviews on YouTube but there not really good. Canon has some samples but i cannot download them. But it also has a very tiny sensor so it could also be an "end up in the drawer" camera.īecause I don't like "end up in the drawer" camera's I did a little search for reviews and samples but I could not find any thing useful. It waterproof, shock proof small en light. The ivy rec could be a good "take with me when I go running" camera. The Ivy rec used to be one of these concept camera's but Canon actually choose to take this one into production. ![]() Somewhere in the article or in the comments the ivy rec is mentioned. It's about concept camera's canon showed at ces. I was still thinking about this missed opportunity when I read this article on dpreview: ![]() I did carry my phone with me but it was tucked away in an arm pouch with a plastic bag around it. Or of the view I had of all the legs in front of me when I was checking my shoes. At the start point I could have made some really nice pictures like pictures of the runners taking shelter for the wind behind some Porto cabins. Last week I was running the Egmond half marathon.
